H-E-B and Procter & Gamble Invite Austin to Join the Fight to End Breast Cancer
(AUSTIN) — H-E-B and Procter & Gamble (P&G) are teaming up to provide an opportunity for Austin area H-E-B customers to join the fight to end breast cancer.
Beginning today and through March 1, 2011, shoppers that purchase $35 worth of P&G products at their neighborhood H-E-B will receive a $10 Visa debit card in the mail and P&G will make a donation to the Austin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® on their behalf – up to $20,000, which is determined based on the percentage of total P&G products sold in the Austin area.
In the U.S., a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer every three minutes, and every 13 minutes, a woman dies of breast cancer. H-E-B and P&G are committed to raising awareness about breast cancer among their Austin customers in the hopes of saving a life.
