Young Professionals Council
Are you a young professional living in the Austin area, and looking to become involved in philanthropy?
The Austin Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is excited to announce the creation of the Young Professionals Council (YPC) and is currently recruiting young professionals to be a part of its inaugural year. The YPC is comprised of rising young men and women who are engaging a new generation in the culture of philanthropy to achieve our vision of a life without breast cancer. They are dedicated to promoting breast cancer awareness, raising funds through innovative programs and providing volunteer support. The YPC gives young professionals a chance to socialize, network and make a significant impact in the community.
Members of the YPC will be invited to upcoming Komen activities and events. Specifically, members will be asked to participate in the following (details subject to change):
- Annual Kick-off event, YPC flyer
- Two member only socials/meetings
- One Annual Fundraiser
Be a part of the inaugural year of the YPC!
Annual membership donation are $50 (individual), $75 (couple).
