Affiliate Community Health Grants

Susan G. Komen® Austin awards needs-based community health grants to non-profit organizations that provide breast cancer education, screening, treatment, and treatment support services for the medically underserved community in Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, and Williamson counties. Community health grants are awarded annually on April 1. New funding opportunities are announced each September. Application information is available via How to Apply for Funding.

Our grantees:

• Address unmet needs in the community
• Increase the quality and quantity of care, especially for the underserved
• Minimize duplication of services
• Demonstrate success in meeting goals
• Exercise good use of funds
• Comply with deadlines, reports and public relations requests
• Exhibit strong collaboration with other organizations
