How to Apply for Funding

Komen Austin's grants run on our fiscal year, from April 1 to March 31.  Announcements are made in March of each year.  If you have questions, please contact the grants coordinator at grants@komenaustin.org.

NEW COMMUNITY GRANT FUNDING OPPORTUNITY

The Austin Affiliate is pleased to announce the availability of additional grant funds for the current fiscal year. The grant cycle will run from June 18, 2012 through March 31, 2013. Applications are due to the Affiliate office on May 3, 2012 by 2:00 P.M. Application documents include: 2012 2nd RFA, 2012 Budget Form_2nd RFA, and 2012 Project Work Plan.

 Affiliate Small Grant Funding

In addition to large community health grants, Komen Austin funds small grants up to $10,000. Funding for small grants is available throughout the year until March 31. Small grants are awarded for travel scholarships to meetings/conferences; pilot projects or small projects; and sponsoring/hosting education conferences. Applicants must be a federally tax-exempt organization or an individual with an interest in breast health/breast cancer. Projects or planned events must take place in our five county service area (Bastrop, Hays, Caldwell, Travis, Williamson) and individuals applying to attend a conference must live in our service area.
