COMMUNITY GRANTS

Funding Opportunities
Susan G. Komen® Austin is currently accepting applications to fund community grants for breast cancer education, screening, diagnostic and treatment services, treatment support, survivorship programs and health care delivery/systems changes. The Komen Austin affiliate seeks community-based breast health and breast cancer projects that benefit the medically underserved in Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis and Williamson counties.

Requirements for Applying

Eligibility
Only organizations that submitted a Letter of Intent to Apply for Funding by Oct. 3 and received an invitation to apply for funding from Komen Austin are eligible to apply for FY14 Community Grant funding.

Community Profile

 Affiliate Small Grant Funding

In addition to large community health grants, Komen Austin funds small grants up to $10,000. Funding for small grants is available throughout the year until March 31. Small grants are awarded for travel scholarships to meetings/conferences; pilot projects or small projects; and sponsoring/hosting education conferences. Applicants must be a federally tax-exempt organization or an individual with an interest in breast health/breast cancer. Projects or planned events must take place in our five county service area (Bastrop, Hays, Caldwell, Travis, Williamson) and individuals applying to attend a conference must live in our service area.
