Support Groups
Do you know someone who is in treatment for breast cancer? Support groups are a great way for Survivors and Co-Survivors alike to have a place to talk about what they are going through: the challenges, the steps, the options, the side effects, the need to be with someone who is waging the same war; a need to talk to someone about what they are feeling. Medical studies have confirmed that having a network of people to talk to during a major life challenge speeds the recovery of the patient. There are support groups for Co-Survivors to meet others who are married to, a child of, a best friend of someone fighting a battle with breast cancer. There are many options out there and you should find the group that best fits your needs.
Please note if the group has a * beside it, this is a group for both survivors and co-survivors.
